Cerdedo FC's Vítor Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Barbosa in the 22nd minute of play. Alexandre Assunção showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Assunção in the 24th minute of the match. After 26 minutes, Jaime Assunção made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Beire FC's Alexandre Assunção tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandre Assunção came out of the goal and Jaime Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Moreira hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Carlos Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beire FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerdedo FC the free kick. Albertino Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bento Aguiar kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Albertino Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Vítor Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cerdedo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cerdedo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
