Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bertufo's Luís Leão started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Pedro Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bertufo's zone, Paulo Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Neves came out of the goal and Paulo Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Failde FC's André Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Coelho in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Leão in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Pires saved Failde FC from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Failde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Coelho came free, but André Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Bertufo's Luís Leão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Pires narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luís Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Pires having to interfere. Bertufo's Gil Pacheco suffered a concussion in the 27th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Paiva during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Failde FC's David Paiva got a free kick in the 28th minute. Filipe Correia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. André Pires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bertufo getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marco Neves hit a great ball. With a little luck, Bertufo's João Neves got control of the ball when Ricardo Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute, Afonso Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Reis succeeded in the game's 40th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 42 played minutes Bertufo got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Santarém. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Reis to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Bertufo's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Reis came free, but João Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Almeida in the 53rd minute of play. Pedro Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. André Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Paulo Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ricardo Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Pedro Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Reis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Neves having to make a save. Filipe Correia hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Raul Cunha sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bertufo's João Neves didn't even have to move. Bertufo's Filipe Correia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Failde FC. Pedro Coelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. André Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bertufo's Luís Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Pedro Coelho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bertufo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Coelho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Luís Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Pedro Coelho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Ricardo Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Failde FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Bertufo for much of the match.
