Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Penim FC's Joaquim Miranda got a free kick in the 3rd minute. João Leão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 6thth minute tested the skills of Xavier Alves when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Xavier Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Adolfo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Penim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Neto couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Branco during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Boivao FC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Branco. In the 28th minute, João Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Penim FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jorge Setúbal hit a great ball. João Leão struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Xavier Alves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boivao FC. Xavier Alves made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when João Leão sent off a good shot on target. If João Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Penim FC's Xavier Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Paredes in the 43rd minute of play. Diogo Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Neto in the 46th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rui Paredes made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, João Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rui Paredes in the 55th minute of play forced Penim FC's goalkeeper Xavier Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xavier Alves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Leão's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Viriato Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xavier Alves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viriato Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Penim FC's zone, Viriato Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavier Alves came out of the goal and Viriato Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rui Paredes charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Paredes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rui Paredes hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Viriato Machado hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Rui Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Diogo Cardoso made a huge save. Rui Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Adolfo Neto came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Penim FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Neto couldn't finish the play. Boivao FC's Rui Paredes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 97 played minutes Boivao FC got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Fernandes. Boivao FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
