After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Viriato Machado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boivao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Viriato Machado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Pedroso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Leão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Pedroso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Boivao FC's corner Lourenço Sousa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gil Pedroso quite easily take care of the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Rogério Henriques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Guilhado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boivao FC the free kick. After 15 played minutes SC Guilhado got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Henriques. In the 16th minute of the match Lourenço Sousa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Pedroso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Lourenço Aguiar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lourenço Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Diogo Cardoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Rui Paredes made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in SC Guilhado's zone, Rui Paredes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gil Pedroso came out of the goal and Rui Paredes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Boivao FC's goalkeeper Diogo Cardoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Joel Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the SC Guilhado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Moreira couldn't finish the play. Lourenço Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Cardoso having to interfere. Fernando Delgado charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Adolfo Machado was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 79 minutes, Daniel Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Guilhado and the Boivao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Paredes couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, SC Guilhado's goal looked a bit too open when Rui Paredes came free, but Gil Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolfo Machado fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 96th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
