Cristóvão Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Aleixo in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Júlio Fontes got free with Filipe Viegas in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valonguinho FC's Filipe Viegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Gaspar in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Gaspar in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filipe Viegas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mário Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filipe Viegas having to interfere. Valonguinho FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Mário Gaspar 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Tiago Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Luz to make the kick off. If Lúcio Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Alexandre Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valonguinho FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Pousada the free kick. A collision led to Valonguinho FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Alexandre Amorim hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Júlio Fontes made a precise shot to the right of Filipe Viegas. Valonguinho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Júlio Fontes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filipe Viegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to SC Pousada getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nuno Matias hit a great ball. Cristóvão Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, SC Pousada's Cristóvão Pereira got control of the ball when Lúcio Aleixo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Manuel Castro fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Pousada's protests and gave Manuel Castro a yellow card for diving instead. Manuel Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Valonguinho FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tiago Monteiro hit a great ball. Cristóvão Pereira was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Lúcio Aleixo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lúcio Aleixo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Mário Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Pousada's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
