Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Matias in the 17th minute of play forced SC Pousada's goalkeeper Cristóvão Pereira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sérgio Domingues during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Matias got free with Cristóvão Pereira in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to SC Pousada getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marco Mendes hit a great ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SC Pousada walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
