Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bruno Trindade started the match with the kick off. Bruno Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Monteiro having to interfere. Meijoadas FC's Bruno Trindade got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esqueiro's goalkeeper Bernardo Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When António Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Esqueiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Leiria couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Trindade in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Monteiro saved Esqueiro from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Esqueiro's Ricardo Castro got a free kick in the 24th minute. When Meijoadas FC's Lucas Baptista in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esqueiro's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Esqueiro's zone, Lucas Baptista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Monteiro came out of the goal and Lucas Baptista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Trindade, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Esqueiro's Gaspar Alves tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Cardoso to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Esqueiro's Rodrigo Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Cardoso during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Meijoadas FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fernando Cardoso hit a great ball. David Lisboa charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Lisboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Meijoadas FC booed when Esqueiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Magalhães having to interfere. Lucas Baptistas short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Bernardo Monteiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66th play minute Lucas Baptista came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bernardo Monteiro. 0-1. If Bruno Trindade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Monteiro was a little too slow when Lucas Baptista got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-2. If Lucas Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 90 minutes into the match, Esqueiro's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Trindade came free, but Bernardo Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Meijoadas FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
