Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the match, Luzio's goalkeeper Abel Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vicente Queirós. Abel Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonso Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 13th minute Adolfo Assunção shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basílio Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Assunção took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basílio Amaro. Basílio Amaro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in SC Magueijinha's zone, Adolfo Assunção stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Amaro came out of the goal and Adolfo Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cláudio Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Amaro having to interfere. With 25 minutes on the clock, Artur Paiva commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Luzio a penalty, 27 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adolfo Borba, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Magueijinha's Basílio Amaro. 0-2. The Luzio fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Luzio's Cláudio Castro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. SC Magueijinha's Vicente Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in SC Magueijinha's zone, Cláudio Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Amaro came out of the goal and Cláudio Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cláudio Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Amaro having to interfere. Adolfo Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cláudio Castro to make the kick off. Basílio Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Assunção's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Basílio Amaro firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to SC Magueijinha getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alexandre Cardoso hit a great ball. With a little luck, SC Magueijinha's Basílio Amaro got control of the ball when Adolfo Assunção tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Amaro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SC Magueijinha's Joaquim Torres got a free kick in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, SC Magueijinha's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Castro came free, but Basílio Amaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 71 played minutes SC Magueijinha got a freekick which was hit by André Queirós. Basílio Amaro acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Adolfo Borba. 73 minutes into the match, Cláudio Castro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Basílio Amaro, 0-5. With an all-out effort, Luzio's Basílio Amaro threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cláudio Castro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abel Cruz came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Magueijinha's Vicente Queirós. But to his dismay, Vicente Queirós quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexandre Cardoso during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandre Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The SC Magueijinha fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Luzio were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
