Vasco Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Afonso Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Vasco Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Diogo Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Correia having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Pedrosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Albertino Vale came free, but Viriato Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Afonso Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasco Pinheiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasco Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Neves having to interfere. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vasco Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Afonso Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Lima in the 78th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Pedrosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diogo Costa came free, but Viriato Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
