Vasco Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. José Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mário Santarém was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lourenço Viana in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Lourenço Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Maginhata's André Marques came free and shot a quick shot against goal 73 minutes in the game, fortunately Jorge Rocha had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 74 minutes into the match, SC Maginhata's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Santarém came free, but José Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Oriz's Vasco Neto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Fontes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The supporters of Oriz booed when SC Maginhata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Faro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oriz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Tomás Neves scored to the left of an out of position Jorge Rocha, making the score, 3-2. José Fontes didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Oriz's Vasco Neto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Filipe Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the SC Maginhata players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oriz.
