The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusébio Neves during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ramiro FC booed when Valada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Gueifão in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Gueifão in the 13th minute of play forced Ramiro FC's goalkeeper Manuel Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, David Gueifão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Nascimento. Ramiro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Gueifão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If David Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valada's David Gueifão got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastião Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Ferreira having to interfere. David Gueifão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Alexandre Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Nascimento having to interfere. Manuel Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Gueifão in the 36th minute of the match. If Alexandre Porto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Ramiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Viriato Henriques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Martins in the 44th minute of play forced Ramiro FC's goalkeeper Manuel Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Viriato Henriques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a rather tough play, Ramiro FC's Afonso Marques got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 93 played minutes Valada got a freekick which was hit by Catarino Pedroso. Alexandre Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Manuel Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
