André Brás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristiano Gueifão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. When André Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Macores's protests and gave André Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After 69 played minutes SC Macores got a freekick which was hit by André Amaral. André Brás struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Cristiano Gueifão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Asseiceira. The audience was convinced that Cristóvão Oliveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Brito was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Óscar Domingues hit a great ball. Cristiano Gueifão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Brás in the 90th minute of play. André Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Cabral went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. SC Macores's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
