Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. David Leão started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes SC Alfafar got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Gaspar. A collision led to SC Alfafar getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Henrique Pedroso hit a great ball. André Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delfim Ferro in the 12th minute of play. Delfim Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Brito having to interfere. In the 18th minute Delfim Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SC Asseiceira's André Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save SC Asseiceira from getting a goal against them. If David Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Bessa in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Brito saved SC Asseiceira from getting behind. David Bessa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, SC Asseiceira's goal looked a bit too open when Delfim Ferro came free, but André Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SC Alfafar getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Henrique Pedroso hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, André Brás managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Asseiceira's supporters rose to their feet, but André Brás was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Setúbal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pedro Setúbal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from André Brás went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The SC Alfafar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SC Asseiceira were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Delfim Ferro to strike the kick off in the second half. David Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Setúbal having to interfere. In the 53rd minute of the match, André Brás got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pedro Setúbal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to SC Alfafar getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Catarino Pereira hit a great ball. André Brás's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Setúbal firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 59th minute, David Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute David Leão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Brás received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Pedro Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Alfafar's Pedro Setúbal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Neves in the 74th minute of play. Henrique Pedroso charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Pedroso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, SC Alfafar's Henrique Pedroso got a free kick in the 75th minute. David Leão struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Pedro Setúbal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Asseiceira. Nuno Neves's late challenge caught a SC Alfafar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nuno Neves helped the player get up and apologised. André Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Bessa's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The SC Asseiceira supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SC Asseiceira would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
