When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Neves made a kick off. SC Formarigo's Lourenço Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Brás in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Formarigo's zone, André Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lourenço Figueiredo came out of the goal and André Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. André Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Neves in the 63rd minute of play. Jacinto Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Brito having to interfere. Jacinto Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Brito made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Nuno Porto sent off a good shot on target. 85 minutes into the game, Jacinto Neves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of André Brito. Jacinto Neves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The SC Formarigo players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
