Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Sousa to make the kick off. Bento Domingues charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bento Domingues the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Domingos Ferreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Setúbal having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Esturaos's André Marques sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Francisco Setúbal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Esturaos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sacoes for a fine match.
