Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lisboa kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the game, João Anjos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedrais FC the free kick. Pedrais FC's Diogo Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lisboa in the 14th minute of play. Vítor Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Melo in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diogo Araújo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diogo Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Barros FC's Fábio Coelho got control of the ball when Cândido Figueiredo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Vítor Melo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Domingos Silva fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Cândido Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Vítor Melo came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Barros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Melo couldn't finish the play. Barros FC's Vítor Melo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
In the 53rd minute, Domingos Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pedrais FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Domingos Silva hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Vítor Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emílio Matos during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cândido Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Diogo Araújo made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Vítor Melo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Diogo Araújo to make any attempt to save it. Fábio Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Catarino Guarda in the 94th minute of the match. Alfredo Pinheiro's late challenge caught a Pedrais FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Pinheiro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pedrais FC booed when Barros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
