Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Miguel Leite made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Portelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Cardoso came free, but Vítor Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, Cândido Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Portelas FC's Miguel Leite in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abrunhosa FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 7th match minute, Abrunhosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Trindade to maneuver through the defense. Abrunhosa FC's Diamantino Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorge Amaro took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vítor Barros. Vítor Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Leite in the 21st minute of play forced Abrunhosa FC's goalkeeper Simão Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Miranda charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Miranda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Abrunhosa FC's João Miranda got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Miguel Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Veiga having to interfere. Bruno Trindade kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Miguel Leite took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simão Veiga. Simão Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Diamantino Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vítor Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Amaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Miguel Leite came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Portelas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Leite couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Marques's late challenge caught a Portelas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Marques helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Abrunhosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Marques to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Portelas FC's Filipe Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simão Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Amaro to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Abrunhosa FC booed when Portelas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Abrunhosa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe Fonseca came free, but Simão Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Simão Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Leite in the 55th minute of play. Filipe Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Simão Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Filipe Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Leite in the 73rd minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match, Adolfo Marques tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vítor Barros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience was convinced that Jorge Amaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vítor Barros was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Miguel Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes Portelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Ribeiro. For all the effort they put into the match, the Abrunhosa FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Portelas FC.
