Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sousel's Tomás Castro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Barros having to interfere. Filipe Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sousel's Ricardo Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filipe Fonseca in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Inácio Santarém hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th match minute, Sousel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Henriques to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Sousel's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Leite came free, but Ricardo Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Sousel's Fernando Miranda made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vítor Barros was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Sousel getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Lucas Henriques hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Tomás Castro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vítor Barros. Tomás Castro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Filipe Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ricardo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Portelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Castro came free, but Vítor Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sousel's Fernando Miranda got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Sousel's Francisco Luz tried to score from far away in the 39th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Miguel Leite made the kick off in the second half. Ricardo Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Leite in the 54th minute of the match. Vítor Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Miranda went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ricardo Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filipe Fonseca in the 65th minute. Miguel Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ricardo Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Filipe Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ricardo Santos. Sousel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
