Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Fernandes started the match with the kick off. Mário Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7th play minutes Eusébio Carvalho shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Hélder Correia and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Fernandes in the 16th minute of play forced SC Amonde's goalkeeper Hélder Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. If Filipe Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Miranda hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SC Amonde defense, Eusébio Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Correia. The SC Amonde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Correia should have stopped the shot. Henrique Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Raul Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filipe Nascimento hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Mário Torres's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Raul Fontes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When SC Amonde's Henrique Queirós in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Boavista's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Filipe Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hélder Correia. SC Amonde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Francisco Pinheiro charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Pinheiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Francisco Pinheiro hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Inácio Miranda from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Raul Fontes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After the first half SC Boavista were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Henrique Queirós made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Queirós in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raul Fontes saved SC Boavista from getting behind. Raul Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henrique Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to SC Boavista getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Tiago Pacheco hit a great ball. Eusébio Carvalho's late challenge caught a SC Amonde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eusébio Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. If Henrique Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eusébio Carvalho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hélder Correia having to make a save. Viriato Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hélder Correia having to interfere. If Viriato Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Amonde's Hélder Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Fernandes in the 84th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in SC Boavista fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 87th minute. Penalty! In the 89th minute there was a penalty for SC Amonde. Inácio Miranda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raul Fontes. 1-3. 97 minutes into the match, SC Amonde's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Fernandes came free, but Hélder Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Boavista eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
