Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when André Figueiredo kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute of the match, Vítor Henriques got a very nice opportunity to score, but Armando Correia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 6th minute of the match SC Cantarola got a corner. Ludares's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led SC Cantarola's Pedro Fonseca to fire away a dangerous shot which Armando Correia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ludares's Albertino Amorim got a free kick in the 7th minute. Vítor Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Correia having to interfere. Ludares's Armando Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Coimbra in the 11th minute of play. Ludares's Armando Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Ludares from getting a goal against them. When Luís Assis came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Ludares fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Assis couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrique Castro during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 20 played minutes SC Cantarola got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Castro. Vítor Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Correia having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Luís Assis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cândido Delgado was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 37 minutes into the game, Luís Assis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ludares's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Cantarola the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ludares's Luís Assis got a free kick in the 37th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Coimbra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Henrique Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Armando Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the match, SC Cantarola's goal looked a bit too open when André Figueiredo came free, but Cândido Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludares's Armando Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Coimbra in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Ludares getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marco Fernandes hit a great ball. Luís Assis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cândido Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute André Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Coimbra's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ludares fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! 79 minutes into the match, Pedro Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Correia. Ludares's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Armando Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Coimbra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Lourenço Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Figueiredo might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cândido Delgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Figueiredo ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of SC Cantarola booed when Ludares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute of the match Pedro Fonseca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armando Correia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute Carlos Coimbra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Carlos Coimbra managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Cantarola's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Coimbra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vítor Henriques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Cantarola's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
