Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amadeu Campos started the match with the kick off. Henrique Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SC Silgueiros booed when SC Freixiosa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliveira Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Viana having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Neves got free with Lourenço Almeida in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, SC Silgueiros's Mário Correia got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the game, SC Freixiosa's Tomás Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lourenço Almeida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Oliveira Brás's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Viana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Jorge Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the game, Amadeu Campos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Freixiosa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Silgueiros the free kick. After 35 played minutes SC Freixiosa got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Campos. SC Silgueiros's Lourenço Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save SC Silgueiros from getting a goal against them. Tomás Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lourenço Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Amadeu Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Lourenço Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Oliveira Pires made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Domingos Paredes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Freixiosa and the SC Silgueiros players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingos Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Oliveira Pires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Viana having to make a save. Henrique Porto's late challenge caught a SC Silgueiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Porto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Henrique Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When SC Silgueiros's Oliveira Pires in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Freixiosa's goalie prevented a goal. After 71 played minutes SC Freixiosa got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Porto. If Oliveira Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freixiosa's zone, Oliveira Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Viana came out of the goal and Oliveira Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeu Campos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the game, Tomás Neves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lourenço Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. From close distance Oliveira Brás pressed in the 2-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 83 minutes into the game. If Tomás Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oliveira Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Viana having to interfere.
