Mariano Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11thth minute of the game Joel Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casconha FC's Rui Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mariano Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Cabral lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Óscar Machado. In the 24th minute, Gonçalo Cabral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Óscar Machado. The goal made the score 2-0. Vítor Antunes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Joel Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute of the match, Nuno Henriques got a very nice opportunity to score, but Óscar Machado was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Casconha FC booed when Bodiosa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th match minute, Bodiosa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Ramos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bodiosa FC's Óscar Machado got control of the ball when Nuno Henriques tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Casconha FC's Nuno Henriques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Óscar Machado. Óscar Machado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonçalo Cabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gil Andrade hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. If Gonçalo Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Vale in the 67th minute of the match. Gonçalo Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Óscar Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nuno Henriques during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rui Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Vale in the 85th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael Ramos in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rui Sá saved Casconha FC from getting behind. When Joel Vale came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Bodiosa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Vale couldn't finish the play. Joel Vale was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Bodiosa FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Casconha FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
