Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vasco Simões kicked off to start the match. Vasco Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Joaquim Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vasco Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Azevedo having to interfere. If Vasco Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Vasco Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Joaquim Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Óscar Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joaquim Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Delgado in the 27th minute of play. Joaquim Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vasco Simões's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Mangide FC's Fernando Aguiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inácio Miranda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Vítor Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 37 minutes, Domingos Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saborido's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquim Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasco Simões in the 38th minute of play. Saborido's Inácio Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfim Paiva in the 42nd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Aguiar made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Fernando Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saborido's Inácio Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Óscar Porto in the 57th minute of play forced Saborido's goalkeeper Inácio Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Fernando Aguiar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mangide FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 63rd match minute, Mangide FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonçalo Amaro to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, Fernando Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Inácio Miranda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Saborido defense, Fernando Aguiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inácio Miranda. The Saborido fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inácio Miranda should have stopped the shot. If Vasco Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mangide FC's Joaquim Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasco Simões in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Saborido getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Vítor Maia hit a great ball. Óscar Porto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Miranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Domingos Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Saborido players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mangide FC.
