Abel Ferro came out of the goal and Jorge Lisboa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viriato Assunção recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Fonseca hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, SC Gramachinha's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Maia came free, but Hugo Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viriato Assunção fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Ferro having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Fernando Simões mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Gramachinha and the SC Oucidres players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Emílio Maia came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the SC Oucidres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Maia couldn't finish the play. Emílio Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Magalhães having to interfere. In the 27th minute, Viriato Assunção got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emílio Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Hugo Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to SC Gramachinha getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Adelino Vaz hit a great ball. Abel Ferro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Lisboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viriato Assunção's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Ferro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Pedro Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. SC Gramachinha's Viriato Assunção got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, SC Gramachinha's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Maia came free, but Hugo Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Gramachinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Oucidres the free kick. 57 minutes into the match, SC Gramachinha's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Cardoso came free, but Hugo Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Oucidres's goalkeeper Abel Ferro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Gramachinha had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
