The referee showed Sebastião Esteves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Agrela FC's Sebastião Esteves got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Américo Abreu struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Miguel Faria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agrela FC. Armando Ferreira took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Faria. Miguel Faria dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Armando Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Miguel Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Agrela FC booed when Sobredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Américo Abreu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute of the match Alexandre Paredes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Gueifão skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Agrela FC's zone, Bento Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Gueifão came out of the goal and Bento Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes, Basílio Delgado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sobredo and the Agrela FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sobredo's Basílio Delgado got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 39 played minutes Agrela FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Ferreira. Alexandre Gueifão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duarte Soares in the 41st minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Agrela FC's zone, Bento Aleixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexandre Gueifão came out of the goal and Bento Aleixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Américo Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agrela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Faria breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Lima might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Faria. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Lima ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Vale during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Ferreira in the 66th minute of play forced Sobredo's goalkeeper Miguel Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Esteves hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Basílio Delgado hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute of the match Nuno Moniz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Miguel Faria skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd minute Duarte Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexandre Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Sobredo's Miguel Faria got control of the ball when Américo Abreu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Miguel Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agrela FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
