Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Armando Ferreira took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alexandre Gueifão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delfim Azevedo went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 8 minutes into the match, Agrela FC's Armando Ferreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Afonso Cabral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 10 minutes of play, SC Candomil's José Delgado made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandre Gueifão was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the game, Vicente Resende was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Agrela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Candomil the free kick. In the 14th minute of the match Eusébio Dias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alexandre Gueifão showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Afonso Cabral made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Américo Abreu sent off a good shot on target. If Delfim Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Américo Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Américo Abreu got free with Afonso Cabral in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delfim Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandre Gueifão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Américo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Afonso Cabral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Cristiano Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delfim Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eusébio Dias made a great header on SC Candomil's corner, it was just that Agrela FC's Alexandre Gueifão managed to reach the ball for a save. Alexandre Gueifão made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Delgado in the 58th minute. José Delgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agrela FC's Alexandre Gueifão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Agrela FC from getting a goal against them. Vicente Resende struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Afonso Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agrela FC. When José Delgado came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the SC Candomil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Delgado couldn't finish the play. José Delgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Gueifão having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Alexandre Gueifão, was totally fooled by SC Candomil's Eusébio Dias, who 90 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After having played for 95 minutes, José Delgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Candomil's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Delgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 97 played minutes Agrela FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Lima. Agrela FC's Alexandre Gueifão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Agrela FC from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Candomil eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
