Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adolfo Marques took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, Lúcio Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Marques in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emílio Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alviaes FC's Joaquim Sousa in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cerejo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Emílio Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Sousa in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Bento Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandro Castro scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Borges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Cerejo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Sousa came free, but Emílio Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Adolfo Marques sped through Cerejo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emílio Barbosa. Adolfo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adolfo Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Alviaes FC's Cristiano Borges got control of the ball when Sandro Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adolfo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Barbosa having to interfere. Cerejo FC's Emílio Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Marques in the 42nd minute of play. Cristiano Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vítor Borba made a kick off. Cristiano Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Cerejo FC's Emílio Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Cerejo FC from getting a goal against them. Vítor Borba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Borges having to interfere. Adolfo Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Emílio Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Castro in the 67th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match José Leal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristiano Borges showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cerejo FC's Vítor Borba got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Joaquim Sousa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emílio Barbosa. Joaquim Sousa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Adolfo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Barbosa having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Sousa got free with Emílio Barbosa in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristiano Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vítor Borba, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Emílio Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Emílio Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alviaes FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
