André Paiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Andrade in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Adolfo Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Daniel Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 11 minutes of play, Engenheiro's Adolfo Gaspar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Paiva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Andrade hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Engenheiro's Daniel Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cândido Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Cristóvão Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cândido Dias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bruno Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Paredes during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes SC Conchoso got a freekick which was hit by António Paredes. Engenheiro's Eusébio Teixeira couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SC Conchoso. 41 minutes into the match, Engenheiro's Daniel Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Paiva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Andrade in the 47th minute of play forced SC Conchoso's goalkeeper André Paiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cândido Dias made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Gaspar got free with André Paiva in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Cristóvão Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Conchoso's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristóvão Moreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Rui Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Engenheiro's protests and gave Rui Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. Rui Magalhães hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Daniel Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Engenheiro's Bruno Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Dias in the 69th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Engenheiro's zone, Cristóvão Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Almeida came out of the goal and Cristóvão Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cândido Dias in the 79th minute of play forced Engenheiro's goalkeeper Bruno Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SC Conchoso's André Paiva got control of the ball when Adolfo Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Paiva came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Engenheiro's Adolfo Gaspar. But to his dismay, Adolfo Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Bruno Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cândido Dias in the 100th minute of the match. Engenheiro's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
