Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cristiano Ferreira made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 4 minutes, Humberto Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Barosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th minute, Gonçalo Campos made a precise shot to the right of Delfim Setúbal. Varis FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Delfim Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Branco in the 8th minute of play. If Humberto Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, SC Barosa's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joaquim Lima fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 28th minute, Humberto Branco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Barosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Delfim Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Campos in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Varis FC's Cristiano Ferreira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Gonçalo Campos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Cristiano Ferreira got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonçalo Campos to strike the kick off in the second half. Delfim Setúbal made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Humberto Branco sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to SC Barosa getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Óscar Santos hit a great ball. Cristiano Ferreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Joaquim Lima notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of SC Barosa's Lúcio Neves. Lúcio Neves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joaquim Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Lúcio Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Gonçalo Campos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, SC Barosa's Gonçalo Campos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Humberto Branco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Delfim Setúbal skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 87 played minutes Varis FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Ferreira. A nice corner shot did that Ricardo Martins got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Delfim Setúbal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 92 minutes into the match, SC Barosa's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano Ferreira came free, but Lúcio Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Barosa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
