With a couple of smart ball manuevers Afonso Pinto in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Moreira saved Boizoes FC from getting behind. Inácio Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Alves in the 20th minute of the match. Nasce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boizoes FC the free kick. David Amaro walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Nasce's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
