Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fernando Borges got the match started through his kick off. Fernando Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Fernando Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Famoes's João Ferro got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Tavares hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Marco Valente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, João Ferro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. André Dias didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Famoes's Fernando Borges shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Fernando Borges came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Famoes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Borges couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Valente to strike the kick off in the second half. António Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Figueiredo in the 53rd minute. Famoes's António Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Valente in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Famoes's zone, Marco Valente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Amorim came out of the goal and Marco Valente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Borges in the 58th minute of the match. After 60 minutes, Gustavo Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sermonde FC and the Famoes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gustavo Figueiredo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Ferro in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Ferro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Borges in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Dias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 played minutes Sermonde FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Fontes. 68 minutes into the match, Famoes's Paulo Gonçalves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fernando Borges struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. André Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Famoes. When Famoes's João Ferro in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sermonde FC's goalie prevented a goal. Fernando Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. André Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Famoes booed when Sermonde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Lisboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Viriato Vaz during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sermonde FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Viriato Vaz hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Famoes's Fernando Borges nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Dias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of Famoes booed when Sermonde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Famoes's Fernando Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Famoes players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
