Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eduardo Tavares started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Almancil booed when Facho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílcar Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Cruz in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Valente, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jorge Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Mendes in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Almancil's goalkeeper José Valente had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Cruz. The audience was convinced that Amílcar Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Valente was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Fernando Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jorge Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Fernando Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carlos Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Almancil got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Moniz. Carlos Cruzs short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got José Valente to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amílcar Reis in the 42nd minute of play forced Almancil's goalkeeper José Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Valente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílcar Reis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Moniz during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filipe Moniz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Carlos Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard and well directed shot from Pedro Dias led 60 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Almancil's José Valente became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. A collision led to Facho getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Carlos Bessa hit a great ball. Alberto Almeida hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Carlos Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Facho's Carlos Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Valente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Cruz in the 75th minute of the match. Jorge Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Tavares's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, Facho's Carlos Bessa got a free kick in the 87th minute. Óscar Melo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alberto Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Amílcar Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Cruz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Valente having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the Facho players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
