Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Ribeiro made the kick off and thus started the match. When José Maia fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zouparria FC's protests and gave José Maia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Folgares booed when Zouparria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, SC Folgares's goal looked a bit too open when Duarte Ferreira came free, but Humberto Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Folgares's Mariano Valente got a free kick in the 18th minute. José Maia was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, João Setúbal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Leal came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Zouparria FC's Duarte Ferreira. But to his dismay, Duarte Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cristiano Pinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Ribeiro in the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the SC Folgares defense, Jorge Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Humberto Leal. The SC Folgares fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Humberto Leal should have stopped the shot. Cristiano Pinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Humberto Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duarte Ferreira in the 45th minute of the match. SC Folgares's Humberto Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Borges in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Zouparria FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duarte Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Pinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Ferreira in the 56th minute of play forced SC Folgares's goalkeeper Humberto Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Zouparria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Faria came free, but Cristiano Pinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristiano Pinto having to interfere. Joaquim Machado hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Gaspar Barbosa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristiano Pinto. Zouparria FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Alexandre Ribeiro put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Cristiano Pinto. The supporters of Zouparria FC booed when SC Folgares was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Trindade's late challenge caught a Zouparria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Trindade helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes SC Folgares got a freekick which was hit by Luís Trindade. Duarte Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Humberto Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eusébio Faria in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Pinto saved Zouparria FC from getting behind. If Alexandre Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Ferreira in the 94th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
