Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Catarino Nogueira kicked off to start the match. Catarino Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Simão Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morais. If Catarino Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ponteira getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Albertino Garcia hit a great ball. Mário Veiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Simão Barbosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mário Veiga ran back to his position shaking his head. Catarino Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Simão Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Filipe Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morais's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ponteira the free kick. Mário Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Albertino Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27thth minute of the game Duarte Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Morais's António Guarda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Ponteira's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Veiga came free, but Simão Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarino Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Barbosa having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogério Reis got free with António Guarda in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Catarino Nogueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simão Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After 47 played minutes Morais got a freekick which was hit by Filipe Cunha.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duarte Gaspar made a kick off. In the 52nd play minute Diogo Torres came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Simão Barbosa. 0-1. Ponteira's Simão Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Ponteira from getting a goal against them. After having played for 58 minutes, Mário Veiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mário Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Catarino Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogério Reis took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised António Guarda. António Guarda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 68 played minutes Ponteira got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Alves. In the 76th minute, Duarte Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Morais getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Filipe Cunha hit a great ball. Ponteira's Duarte Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Morais getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mário Veiga hit a great ball. The supporters of Ponteira booed when Morais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Morais's Mário Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
