Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 5 minutes, António Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Otta's supporters crossed their fingers, but António Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Armando Campos came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Argemil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Campos couldn't finish the play. António Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rui Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Baptista in the 18th minute of play. António Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Argemil's goal looked a bit too open when António Sá came free, but Rui Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manuel Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Nunes in the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Cristóvão Baptista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Otta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 36th play minutes Simão Nunes shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Manuel Mendes and just under the crossbar into goal. Rui Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Otta's Cristóvão Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder Aleixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when António Sá stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armando Campos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Manuel Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes, Miguel Neto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otta and the Argemil players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Argemil booed when Otta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Armando Campos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Manuel Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Otta getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. António Sá hit a great ball. Simão Nunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Manuel Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Argemil's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Baptista came free, but Rui Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Campos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Mendes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Manuel Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Armando Campos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Castro was a little too slow when António Sá got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 2-2. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
