Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Emílio Assunção made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7thth minute of the game André Pires who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zoio's Óscar Machado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Óscar Machado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Fernandes went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. André Pires received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Óscar Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Gato's André Trindade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Gato from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Pires in the 26th minute of play forced Zoio's goalkeeper Óscar Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When João Alves came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Zoio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Alves couldn't finish the play. André Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute, João Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Pires blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Óscar Machado having to make a save. 42 minutes into the match, Zoio's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Fernandes came free, but Óscar Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emílio Assunção managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zoio's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio Assunção was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Trindade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but André Trindade made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zoio's Óscar Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Zoio from getting a goal against them. Filipe Jesus charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filipe Jesus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Zoio's Carlos Antunes tried to score from far away in the 57th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. André Trindade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Alves in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, André Pires reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Óscar Machado. The goal made the score 0-2. João Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. André Trindade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Raul Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Raul Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Zoio's João Nunes got a free kick in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gato's zone, Emílio Assunção stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Trindade came out of the goal and Emílio Assunção tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
