Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Emílio Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Trindade having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Adelino Trindade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gontinhaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Trindade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Trindade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adelino Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If André Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Adelino Trindade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armindo Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raul Fernandes in the 22nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Emílio Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gontinhaes's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Trindade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 42 minutes into the match, Gontinhaes's goalkeeper Armindo Leão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Pires. Raul Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The SC Gato players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gontinhaes were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in SC Gato's zone, Adelino Trindade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Trindade came out of the goal and Adelino Trindade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes of play, Gontinhaes's Adelino Trindade made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Trindade was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Emanuel Amaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armindo Leão was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. In the 68th minute Emílio Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Trindade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emílio Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Trindade read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. When SC Gato's Raul Fernandes in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gontinhaes's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes into the match, SC Gato's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Queirós came free, but André Trindade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Leão having to interfere. In the 94th match minute, Gontinhaes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Bessa to maneuver through the defense. The SC Gato supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gontinhaes's performance. The match ended with a win for Gontinhaes.
