Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Raul Fernandes made the kick off which started today's match. Joaquim Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Trindade having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Carlos Lisboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montevil FC and the SC Gato players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlos Lisboa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Raul Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Gato's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Jesus hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Joaquim Araújo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. André Trindade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montevil FC. Joaquim Araújo scored 0-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Trindade, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Raul Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montevil FC's Eusébio Guerreiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Fernandes in the 30th minute of play. Montevil FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 49th minute, when Filipe Jesus scored to the left of an out of position Eusébio Guerreiro, making the score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When Raul Fernandes came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SC Gato fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Fernandes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Araújo in the 60th minute of play forced SC Gato's goalkeeper André Trindade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 played minutes SC Gato got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Pacheco. In the 62nd play minute Miguel Assis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised André Trindade. 1-2. In the 75th match minute, SC Gato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Pinho to maneuver through the defense. André Pires sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes of play Montevil FC's Carlos Lisboa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 80th match minute, Montevil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Lisboa to maneuver through the defense. André Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 played minutes Montevil FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Ferro. Joaquim Araújo kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. If Raul Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Assis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Mário Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montevil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Gato the free kick. In the 92nd minute, Mário Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Pires in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Guerreiro saved Montevil FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Raul Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Gato's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Fernandes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Guerreiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chants of Montevil FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SC Gato had held the ball for most of the match.
