Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when António Leiria got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, SC Segundeira's goal looked a bit too open when António Leiria came free, but João Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Dias's late challenge caught a SC Segundeira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Dias helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Fermelha FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Daniel Dias hit a great ball. SC Segundeira's Hugo Moniz got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hugo Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute of the match, Hugo Moniz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gonçalo Almeida was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Macedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gonçalo Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. João Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of António Leiria's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Amílcar Viegas struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. João Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fermelha FC. Gonçalo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Macedo in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Álvaro Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Fermelha FC booed when SC Segundeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Segundeira's zone, António Leiria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Maia came out of the goal and António Leiria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermelha FC's Gonçalo Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Macedo in the 45th minute of play. In the 49thth minute of the game António Leiria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Segundeira's João Maia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Macedo to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Joaquim Jesus had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 55 minutes, António Leiria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fermelha FC and the SC Segundeira players grew even worse after the yellow card. António Leiria kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match.
