Gonçalo Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Monteiro in the 3rd minute. Joaquim Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermelha FC's Gonçalo Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Fermelha FC from getting a goal against them. When Xavier Sá fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fermelha FC's protests and gave Xavier Sá a yellow card for diving instead. Xavier Sá hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Joaquim Monteiros short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Gonçalo Almeida to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. António Leiria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Prazeres's Joaquim Monteiro got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fermelha FC's Amílcar Viegas got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonçalo Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SC Prazeres fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when SC Prazeres's Joaquim Monteiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers António Leiria in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Costa saved SC Prazeres from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when António Leiria made the kick off in the second half. Miguel Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Costa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luís Ferreira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 59 minute of play. When António Leiria came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Fermelha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that António Leiria couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute Miguel Aleixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Prazeres's Manuel Nogueira got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 73rd minute, Manuel Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 74 played minutes, Fermelha FC's Daniel Dias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaime Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fermelha FC reached it. António Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Jaime Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 78 in the game by Amílcar Viegas from a close distance when the talented Jaime Costa managed to make a qualified save. SC Prazeres's players were relieved. In the 79th minute António Leiria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Fermelha FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Luís Ferreira hit a great ball. In the 86th minute of the match Paulo Queirós sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Almeida skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by António Leiria in the 89th minute of play forced SC Prazeres's goalkeeper Jaime Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amílcar Viegas kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
