Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cristiano Amaral made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the game, Raul Castro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Requeixo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Semide the free kick. Alfredo Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Fonseca in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Semide's zone, Francisco Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Soares came out of the goal and Francisco Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Eusébio Amaral lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Alfredo Soares. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Semide's goalkeeper Alfredo Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. SC Requeixo's Francisco Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Fonseca in the 37th minute of play forced Semide's goalkeeper Alfredo Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes of play SC Requeixo's Raul Castro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Raul Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Cristiano Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Requeixo's Pedro Campos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cristiano Amaral sped through SC Requeixo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Campos. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eusébio Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Semide's Américo Gaspar made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Campos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Semide's Américo Gaspar got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nuno Campos hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Cristiano Amaral succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 65th playminute. The supporters of Semide booed when SC Requeixo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Amaral in the 74th minute of play. Alfredo Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the game, Pedro Santarém was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Augusto Aguiar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 88th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Luís Ferreira charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Ferreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Luís Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Semide's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by António Viana in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Semide had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
