Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Paulo Costa made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Serpa FC's goalkeeper Miguel Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afonso Pires. If Sérgio Guarda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Costa in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Pedro Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 minutes, Paulo Costa made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Serpa FC's Miguel Almeida tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Miguel Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Afonso Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Jorge Pinheiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Jejua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Serpa FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, SC Jejua's Jorge Pinheiro got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sérgio Guarda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Afonso Pires notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Serpa FC's Miguel Almeida. Miguel Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th minute Afonso Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Costa struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Miguel Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Jejua. The supporters of Serpa FC booed when SC Jejua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Afonso Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Almeida having to interfere. Serpa FC's Miguel Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Pires in the 70th minute of play. Miguel Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Pires in the 72nd minute of play. Tiago Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Paulo Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heitor Pinho hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Paulo Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Miguel Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Jejua's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sérgio Guarda 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. 96 minutes into the game, Afonso Pires cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Miguel Almeida was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Jejua fans cheered their team off the field, for while Serpa FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
