Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute of the match Francisco Ramos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Assis skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Coxerro getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Rui Setúbal hit a great ball. Francisco Ramos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Humberto Assis. Coxerro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 7th minute Júlio Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Coxerro's Hélder Pinheiro got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Bento Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Gomes in the 17th minute of play forced Coxerro's goalkeeper Humberto Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vítor Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hélder Pinheiro hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Humberto Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Jaime Gomes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azevedos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Gomes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Assis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rui Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Mota in the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Júlio Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azevedos were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Coxerro's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Francisco Ramos took the corner. Azevedos's Francisco Ramos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Humberto Assis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.

The wind increased when Júlio Miranda made the kick off in the second half. Júlio Miranda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Humberto Assis made a huge save. In the 56th minute of the match, Jaime Gomes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Humberto Assis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If António Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Azevedos's goal looked a bit too open when António Mota came free, but Rui Gueifão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Júlio Miranda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Humberto Assis. Júlio Miranda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Coxerro's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Jaime Gomes scored to the left of an out of position Humberto Assis, making the score, 1-2. Coxerro's Humberto Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Miranda in the 85th minute of play. Rui Setúbal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Rui Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Domingues in the 91st minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Azevedos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael Magalhães to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Azevedos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Heitor Lopes was slow to take the kick. During this time Coxerro's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Coxerro's Vítor Domingues getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Coxerro's Vítor Domingues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rui Gueifão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Azevedos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Azevedos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
