Pedro Freitas charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 9th match minute, Feitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Feitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sérgio Gaspar came free, but Pedro Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ulmeiro FC booed when Feitos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Pinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ulmeiro FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Joaquim Silva hit a great ball. Nuno Garcia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Feitos FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ulmeiro FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Eduardo Aguiar scored to the left of an out of position Tiago Soares, making the score, 1-0. Rui Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Amadeu Azevedo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ulmeiro FC's Tiago Soares didn't even have to move. When Nuno Garcia in the 40th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Tiago Soares kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. If Sérgio Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sérgio Gaspar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Pedro Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nuno Garcia to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Nuno Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Feitos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nuno Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Ulmeiro FC's Joaquim Silva got a free kick in the 56th minute. Sérgio Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Soares having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ulmeiro FC's zone, Nuno Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Soares came out of the goal and Nuno Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nuno Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tiago Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Nuno Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Feitos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Feitos FC's zone, Rogério Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Lopes came out of the goal and Rogério Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute Sérgio Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Andrade's late challenge caught a Feitos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joaquim Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. Joaquim Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After 89th play minutes Nuno Garcia shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Tiago Soares and just under the crossbar into goal. Rogério Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Pedro Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Feitos FC had played much better football throughout.
