The referee ignored Ulmeiro FC's protests and gave Bruno Setúbal a yellow card for diving instead. 3 minutes into the game, one of Ulmeiro FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Tiago Soares, was totally fooled by SC Andevizo's Duarte Leão, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Eduardo Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogério Dantas in the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ulmeiro FC's Gaspar Cardoso got a free kick in the 14th minute. Ulmeiro FC's Tiago Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Araújo in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Nuno Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Andevizo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Araújo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Lourenço Carneiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Tiago Soares skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 28 minutes into the match, Ulmeiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Araújo came free, but Tiago Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Sérgio Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Andevizo's Eduardo Moura was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ulmeiro FC booed when SC Andevizo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armindo Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Andevizo's Lourenço Carneiro got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Lourenço Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lourenço Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Soares having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuno Araújo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tiago Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Araújo in the 52nd minute of play. SC Andevizo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Sérgio Gaspar scored to the left of an out of position Eduardo Moura, making the score, 1-1. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Andevizo's goalkeeper Eduardo Moura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 66 minutes, Rui Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulmeiro FC and the SC Andevizo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SC Andevizo booed when Ulmeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Sérgio Gaspar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to SC Andevizo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Rui Borba hit a great ball. Rogério Dantass short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Eduardo Moura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Eduardo Moura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sérgio Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Araújo in the 91st minute of the match. Tiago Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lourenço Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The Ulmeiro FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Andevizo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
