Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, SC Carvalhinhos's Diamantino Baptista got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Malhapao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Vieira came free, but Viriato Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Carvalhinhos's Afonso Marques got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Gabriel Nogueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tiago Santarém was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gabriel Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Santarém having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Barbosa during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Carvalhinhos getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Jorge Barbosa hit a great ball. Gabriel Nogueira scored 1-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiago Santarém, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Viriato Ferro was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Jorge Barbosa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorge Barbosa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. If Catarino Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Gabriel Nogueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Santarém saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Nogueira in the 41st minute of play forced SC Carvalhinhos's goalkeeper Tiago Santarém to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malhapao FC were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after SC Carvalhinhos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lúcio Pinho took the corner. Malhapao FC's Lúcio Pinho was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tiago Santarém in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Nogueira to make the kick off. Catarino Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Ferro having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Malhapao FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Marques came free, but Viriato Ferro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tiago Santarém tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 minutes of play SC Carvalhinhos's Paulo Magalhães was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Malhapao FC booed when SC Carvalhinhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Malhapao FC's Lúcio Pinho tried to score from far away in the 77th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Afonso Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Viriato Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malhapao FC's Gabriel Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Santarém was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Jorge Barbosa was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 97th match minute, SC Carvalhinhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 98th minute, Malhapao FC's Gabriel Nogueira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiago Santarém. Tiago Santarém yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Malhapao FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
