If Eusébio Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 5th minute, Hélder Fernandes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pedro Marques, passed just outside the right post. When SC Lobagueira's Fernando Santarém in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caldeira FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Fernando Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Pedro Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, SC Lobagueira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Moreira to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Caldeira FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Santarém came free, but Raul Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Assunção's late challenge caught a SC Lobagueira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diamantino Assunção helped the player get up and apologised. Vítor Gomes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raul Lima. Caldeira FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Abel Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Lima having to interfere. Raul Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Oliveira in the 37th minute of the match. Hélder Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caldeira FC's Raul Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Santarém in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Santarém to make the kick off. Pedro Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Fernandes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Eusébio Pedroso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Marques was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Carlos Moniz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Marques. SC Lobagueira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Paulo Oliveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Lima. Caldeira FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Oliveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fernando Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Raul Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Oliveiras short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Raul Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 84 minutes, Paulo Oliveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Lobagueira and the Caldeira FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Caldeira FC booed when SC Lobagueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Oliveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Caldeira FC's Raul Lima got control of the ball when Paulo Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Caldeira FC's zone, Fernando Santarém stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Lima came out of the goal and Fernando Santarém tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Moniz kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Fernando Santarém recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
