Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Diogo Matias started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Charneca FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Tomás Valente hit a great ball. Fábio Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Eusébio Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charneca FC's Diogo Matias got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diogo Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusébio Pinho struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Sebastião Ferro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charneca FC. After a defensive mix-up in SC Couto's zone, Eusébio Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Ferro came out of the goal and Eusébio Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd match minute, SC Couto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Reis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SC Couto's zone, Eusébio Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Ferro came out of the goal and Eusébio Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diogo Matias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Diogo Matias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Borges in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fábio Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlos Borges to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when António Simões got free with Fábio Dantas in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. António Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Borges was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eusébio Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When António Setúbal fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Couto's protests and gave António Setúbal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Charneca FC. Pedro Gaspar stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sebastião Ferro. 1-0. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Charneca FC! The referee gave SC Couto a penalty, 78 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by António Henriques, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Charneca FC's Fábio Dantas. 1-1. Eusébio Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sebastião Ferro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th match minute, SC Couto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Araújo to maneuver through the defense. After 97 played minutes Charneca FC got a freekick which was hit by Diogo Matias. Diogo Matias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusébio Pinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastião Ferro having to interfere. Charneca FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
