Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Moniz in the 3rd minute of play forced Medancelhe's goalkeeper Rafael Porto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rui Aleixo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Armando Moniz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Porto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Miguel Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Magalhães having to interfere. Rafael Porto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Moniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Porto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Moniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes Medancelhe got a freekick which was hit by Rui Aleixo. Amadeu Pereira charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Pereira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Medancelhe's Amadeu Pereira got a free kick in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Catarino Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braganca's supporters rose to their feet, but Catarino Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Porto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Magalhães came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Medancelhe's Miguel Lima. But to his dismay, Miguel Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Armando Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Porto having to interfere. Rui Aleixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rui Aleixo to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 65 played minutes Medancelhe got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Aleixo. Medancelhe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Braganca the free kick. Augusto Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match.
