Nuno Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Magalhães having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Armando Moniz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Braganca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Moniz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Jorge Magalhães made a huge save. Nuno Aguiar scored 1-0 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorge Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Ramos in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, SC Braganca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Anjos to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Campos hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Corticadas's Pedro Amaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Corticadas from getting a goal against them.
